The Future of Farming
FAN is Australia’s fastest growing not-for-profit food industry network. We represent the food and agribusiness industry within the Greater Sunshine Coast Region, encompassing the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Moreton Bay and Gympie. Our purpose is to create a more prosperous food and agribusiness economy that celebrates the provenance and innovation of our region locally and globally.
FAN’s vision is to actively contribute to the doubling of the region’s food and agribusiness economy by 2030 and to be renowned for our food culture and culture of food innovation.
We help our members to connect, learn and grow and provide a platform to showcase their capabilities to local and global markets.
Hear from our members!
FAN is not only a great way for producers to network and help each other’s businesses grow, it’s also a direct avenue for restaurants and chefs to meet and develop relationships with farmers, distributors and other food professionals. Becoming a member of FAN is a worthwhile investment for any chef interested in supporting an ever growing network of local food suppliers in the region.
The Falls Farm
The best aspect of being a member of FAN is finding other members of your ‘tribe’. Those people passionate about good/fresh food production who are so busy they find it difficult to do anything but focus on their business. Casual conversations lead to finding common ground and the sharing of ideas, experiences, problems and solutions. You don’t feel you are alone.
Being a part of FAN has been an excellent experience. It’s such a great opportunity to be part of a broad supported network, working together towards a common goal. FAN events have been heavily attended across our business and always well organised and insightful. We very much look forward to continue being a part of this exciting initiative.
