Martin is a Food Tourism Consultant and Farm Tour Guide, Chef, former Restaurateur and People Connector. He delights in hosting chef and producer events, showcasing the Sunshine Coast and Mary Valley’s fabulous local produce, as well as hosting fun farm-gate tours, corporate high teas and long lunch events on farms.
He was the creator and event coordinator of the beautiful Freestyle Escape, a luxury accommodation, cooking and art school, that offered unique events, cooking classes and art classes in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Martin is also on the executive committee for Mary Valley Country Harvest Cooperative and Country Noosa, actively involved with Food & Agribusiness Network (FAN), Hinterland Tourism, Slow Food Noosa, Noosa Tourism and Visit Sunshine Coast.
Annually, Martin is involved in Sunshine Coast food events such as the Ginger Factory Food & Flower Festival, Noosa Food & Wine Festival, Slow Food, Country Noosa, Mary Valley Country Harvest Co-op and is currently studying Holistic Farm Management.
