Craig has lived on the Sunshine Coast since 2001 when he and wife Megan moved from New Zealand after a short stint in Melbourne. Craig was the founding CEO of The Botanical Food Company (Gourmet Garden) and developed the strategy and oversaw the launch of the Gourmet Garden brand in the US & Canada which led to the business being recognized as the Queensland & Australian Agribusiness of the year in 2006.

In 2010 Craig founded AvoFresh, a range of fresh prepared Avocado products and in 2012 he and Megan began the association with Partner Foods which became The Happy Snack Company, now based in Landsborough. The business has grown rapidly and is now a global leader in retail branded Legume based healthy snacks. The brand is widely distributed in all leading retailers in Australia, New Zealand and more recently the UK .

Since the early 1990’s, Craig has wide ranging operational experience in Food manufacturing, sales and marketing including branded fresh, frozen and shelf stable products as well as functional ingredients. Experience with air dry, freeze dry and pioneering new technology targeting business to business sales as ingredients for soups, ramen noodles, snack foods and baked goods.

While currently the Managing Director of The Happy Snack Company, Craig is also a Director or Board Chair of a number of Not For Profit local organisations providing services to education, banking and intellectual disability. The Happy Snack Company was a founding sponsor of FAN and a current member.  A long time ago he studied Food Technology at Massey University in New Zealand.  After graduating he had about ten years with Heinz Watties in a number of locations and roles around New Zealand.
