Melissa Kingham is the owner of KCL Farm and Kobble Creek Lychees, a long-established boutique lychee orchard in Kobble Creek producing 10 premium varieties. Since purchasing the farm with her husband Ian, Melissa has focused on diversification, sustainability, local employment and the development of future agritourism opportunities.

A third-generation beekeeper, Melissa also manages native bees, Flow Hives and commercial hives, producing seasonal lychee honey and supporting healthy pollination across the orchard.

Melissa brings extensive governance and executive experience to the FAN Board, shaped by senior corporate roles including Chair, Non-Executive Director and Responsible Manager for Australian Financial Services Licensees. She has deep expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, property and funds management, and is a former President of the Property Funds Association of Australia.

She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Land Economics), is a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a Licensed Real Estate Agent (Qld).

Melissa’s combined agricultural, governance and business experience positions her to contribute strongly to FAN’s strategic direction and to support the long-term growth, capability and resilience of the region’s food and agribusiness industry.
