Innovate to Grow – Farm and Food Technology (CSIRO)

Innovate to Grow – Farm and Food Technology is a free, online 8 week programme delivered by CSIRO to support Australian SMEs developing innovative ideas across the farm and food technology sector. The programme is designed to help businesses clarify, refine and plan their ideas for collaborative research and development, with a strong focus on practical outcomes and real-world application.

Participants are supported through a mix of guided learning, expert feedback and structured networking. The programme includes access to researcher connections, an online learning platform, guest speakers, peer learning and coaching from experienced R&D specialists. SMEs work through their idea in a supportive environment, building a clear R&D roadmap and identifying collaboration and funding pathways aligned to their business goals.

This opportunity is open to Australian-based SMEs working in areas such as agritech and AI, food and beverage manufacturing, packaging and transport, livestock and aquaculture, value-add products, waste optimisation, circular economy initiatives and other emerging farm and food technologies. Applications close on 15 February 2026, with the programme commencing in March 2026.
