Raised on a sheep and cattle property at Cunnamulla, Jacki Hinchey has always been connected to the seasons, geography, animals and plants. After 20 years living in almost every port city in Australia, The Hinchey’s came first to the Mary Valley, and then to Mt Mee to raise their children and get their ‘toes in the grass’. Jacki’s “Blue Dog Farm” produces “Really Fancy Salad” and “Bloody Good Beef”, nutritious well grown food for her local community.
In 2020 Jacki introduced “Reko” to Australia, and has helped many Brisbane and Moreton Bay small food and agricultural businesses to thrive in an otherwise difficult market.
As FAN Connect Member Liaison, Jacki works across all FAN regions, supporting members to make meaningful connections, access opportunities and strengthen the regional food and agribusiness community.
Her personal goal is to become a complete “FANavore” – eating (and drinking!) entirely from within the FAN membership.
