Season's Greetings 🎄🎁🏖️
As we approach the end of the year, the FAN team wants to say a genuine thank you for being part of FAN throughout 2025. This year has marked a significant milestone – 10 years of connection, collaboration and growth – and it’s the collective effort of our members, partners and supporters that continues to shape our evolving ecosystem.
Across our regions, we’ve seen the strength of our community in action. You’ve shown up, shared knowledge, opened doors, and contributed to a network that is grounded in trust, generosity and a shared belief in what’s possible when we work together.
A few highlights from 2025
Connected hundreds of members with other food businesses, buyers, distributors, retailers, suppliers, government representatives, media and industry partners. From inbox introductions to morning calls to unexpected “you two should talk” moments – connection has been constant, intentional and at the heart of everything we do.
Hosted 14 member meet-ups and networking events across our regions – gathering at places like Petersen’s Farm, The Avocado Tree Farm, Coolum Beach Bar, Sunshine & Sons, Tempest, Buddy Brewing, Deadly Espresso, Macadamia Floral Farm, Nutworks, Moffat Beach Brewing Co., Canefields Distillery, Glasshouse Plantation, Hip Hops Brewers and Dacello Distilling.
Delivered a full calendar of signature events showcasing our members’ products and stories, including Harvest to Hospitality, a series of evokeAG side events across Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast and Noosa, Meet the Female Makers, Queensland’s Sunshine Pantry activations, and Meet the Makers.
Built capability and confidence through Grow National, IGP – Cluster Connect and partner-led workshops and webinars – 29 sessions in total, with over 500 attendees, designed to strengthen skills and open pathways for growth.
Shared opportunities and insights every month through FANmail – with a 45% open rate, well above industry benchmarks. This included invitations to influence regional and state conversations, such as the South East Queensland Food Systems Strategy Forum run by CSIRO and the Council of Mayors of South East Queensland.
Advocated for your businesses and our industry, attending countless meetings each week with government, partners, national programs and stakeholders – bringing member insights, challenges and opportunities into rooms where decisions are made.
None of this happens without you! Your participation, collaboration and willingness to contribute are what make FAN a trusted and valued network!

In 2026, we continue our commitment to supporting a connected, resilient and thriving food and agribusiness industry. We’ll be building on our 10-year milestone with new opportunities to learn, connect and collaborate – and we look forward to sharing more early in the new year.
