CSIRO Innovate to Grow – Agrifood and Agtech Program

CSIRO is now accepting applications for its free Innovate to Grow Agrifood and Agtech program, delivered in partnership with Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development WA. The 8-week online programme is designed to help SMEs and start-ups working on innovative agrifood and agtech ideas better understand how research and development can support business growth and commercialisation.

Participants will gain practical support to refine their idea, build an R&D project plan, connect with researchers and industry experts, and develop a roadmap for future funding opportunities. The programme includes online workshops, networking sessions, guest speakers, expert coaching and access to a self-paced learning platform.

The programme is open to Australian SMEs working across areas including agritech and AI, food and beverage manufacturing, packaging and transport, livestock and agriculture, value-added products, waste optimisation and recycling, and circular economy solutions. Applications close 31 May 2026, with the programme commencing on 25 June 2026.
