The Queensland and Australian Governments have increased Emergency Disaster Assistance Recovery Grants for primary producers impacted by Tropical Cyclone Alfred from $25,000 to up to $75,000.

Jointly funded under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, this increase will support eligible producers with essential recovery activities including rebuilding infrastructure, replanting crops, and replacing damaged equipment.

The expanded support aims to help producers recover faster and build more resilient operations in the aftermath of the disaster.

Eligible LGAs include: Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Moreton Bay, Gympie, Scenic Rim, Southern Downs and more.
