Raised on a sheep and cattle property at Cunnamulla, Jacki Hinchey has always been connected to the land. The seasons, geography, animals and plants imprinted on her early, and drew her back to raise her own children in the Mary Valley in 2004, and then at Mt Mee, since 2008. The “Blue Dog Farm” market garden produces “Really Fancy Salad” and “Bloody Good Beef” – nutritious well grown food for her local community.
In 2020 Jacki introduced “Reko” to Australia, and has helped many Brisbane and Moreton Bay small food and agricultural businesses to thrive in an otherwise difficult market.
Jacki comes to FAN with a vision of Moreton Bay Region as ‘the most liveable food bowl in Australia, a place where the planet and the people come first’.
