Over the past 12 months, there have been a number of significant changes for FAN.
We have begun the roll-out of FAN’s Strategic Vision 2021 – 2024 and new business model – where we’ll be establishing dedicated FAN clusters in our regions. This will enable us to engage more with you, our members, to support your businesses and to facilitate growth opportunities for our food and agribusiness industry. It will also support FAN’s future sustainability, to ensure that our business can continue to grow and thrive, enabling us to deliver greater value to our members.
Through the funding provided to FAN by Food Innovation Australia Ltd (FIAL) over the past 3 years, which ends on 30 June 2021, we have been able to subsidise FAN’s operations and services. This has included not increasing our membership prices since FAN was established in 2015.
Due to FAN’s new business model, FIAL’s funding ending, and the increased value provided to members through our expanded programs, services, events, connections and resources (read more here), FAN’s Board has endorsed a membership price increase effective 1 July 2021 (payable upon membership renewal).

- Industry Members $195 per annum (plus GST) – previously $150
- Affiliate Members $390 per annum (plus GST) – previously $300
