Dear FAN Community,

What an honour it was for FAN to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the 2022 Sunshine Coast Business Awards, after winning our category three years running. Here’s a little taster from the evening.

Building a start-up not-for-profit that delivers genuine impact takes collective vision and commitment, and it was wonderful to share the moment with many people who have been a part of FAN’s journey over the past seven years.

This is my last FANmail as I say farewell. It has been a privilege leading this organisation, and supporting our members and the food and ag industry across our regions to connect, collaborate and grow. Thank you to everyone who has shaped FAN into the organisation it is today, this wouldn’t have been possible without you.

With an amazing team, supportive Board and strong transition plan, FAN is ready to embrace a new and exciting era, and I wish the organisation and our members every success.

Yours in collaboration,
Emma Greenhatch

FAN AGM

We were pleased to recently share an overview and highlights of FAN’s operations in 2021 – 2022 at our Annual General Meeting.  With thanks to our members in attendance and those who submitted proxies. We are pleased to confirm that all items as listed in the agenda were passed in full favour.

At the AGM we also acknowledged Emm’a contribution to FAN and her passionate committment to our industry and members.

We also welcomed Nicole into the Interim CEO role. The Board looks forward to supporting Nicole and the team in this transition phase.

In acknowledgment and recognition of members who have contributed to the evolution and growth of FAN and represent the organisation’s ethos of giving back and fostering innovation and collaboration – this year we commenced a new tradition of conferring lifetime memberships.
