March was all about Meet the Makers and what an amazing turn out we had! 75 of our members showcasing their produce and products to over 500 buyers, industry, stakeholders, supporters and passionate foodies.

It was our FAN ecosystem at its best – the vibe, the energy, the collaboration, the fun, the passion for what we do – that’s what our guests got to see first hand. All of this couldn’t have happened without…

Upcoming Grants

Trade and Investment Queensland e-commerce grant – now open. The E-commerce Grant Program (EGP) is designed to provide Queensland exporters with up to AU$10,000 of grant funding to enhance their e-commerce presence in international markets to drive online sales. Small to medium sized enterprises can apply for funding to assist with the eligible project costs of successfully marketing, re-engaging or enhancing a new or existing e-commerce presence in an international market. READ MORE HERE.

The AMGC Commercialisation Fund will provide support for commercialisation projects focused on the six National Manufacturing priorities announced by the Australian Government. Food and Beverage is one of these priorities. Grants between $100,000 and $1M covering up to 50% of eligible project expenditure. FIND OUT MORE HERE.

The Boosting Female Founders Initiative – Round 2 helps female entrepreneurs overcome barriers including access to finance and support to grow their startups. Targeted support will be on a co-contribution basis. Join a free online webinar to learn more about this session on April 1 at 11.00am from Jenny Lawson, Successful Grants. The Food and Beverage National Manufacturing Priority road map has launched under the Modern Manufacturing Initiative which identifies key areas of opportunity and actions for government and industry to work together to lift manufacturing capability. Businesses with projects focused on food and beverage can apply for grants under the Modern Manufacturing Initiative (MMI) in the Manufacturing Translation stream and the Manufacturing Integration stream. Applications are open until 27 April 2021.

The Noosa Business Support Panel from Noosa Council has been refreshed with a new panel of advisers. Noosa business owners/operators can access up to 2 hours of free advice, subsidised by Council. LEARN MORE HERE.
